12 big European clubs are planning to create the European Super League

A lot of talk on this today after our game. There were rumours going around that there would be an announcement at 10:30 PM UK time that 12 big European clubs are planning to create the European Super League.

These clubs are: Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Juventus.

No such announcement has been made yet, but the plan is definitely real. The UEFA and other authorities are doing everything they can to stop it, threatening to exclude these clubs from their domestic leagues. The idea of this Super League has caused a lot of uproar, and rightly so in my opinion.
Football has become a business. We know that. But it is supposed to be for the fans, and they are completely ignored by the owners of these clubs. They want to create this league because this makes financial sense for them, but morally it is so, so wrong. Our sport is ruined by these cashgrabbers, and something needs to be done to prevent this. I am ashamed that Arsenal is also taking part in this, even though it makes sense that they want to join it, as saying no to this makes no financial sense whatsoever, but the plans for this Super League should not be there in the first place.
