(OPINION): Four potential transfer targets that have been talked about in the past few months

Here you can see all we know so far about these transfers.
We are mostly looking for two midfielders (box-to-box & creative), a rightback with the likely departure of Hector Bellerin, and a backup leftback. As well as that, a new goalkeeper (if Leno leaves), a centre back, and/or left winger / striker could come in, but this post focuses on the positions of the players stated below.

CREATIVE MIDFIELDER: Emiliano Buendia - Arsenal have not reignited talks with the representatives of Buendia, with their last contact having been in December 2020. There have been no signs that they will ask for him again, as Ødegaard is still seen as the main option in this position to sign next season, and Brandt could be an alternative. Many fans want to see Grealish being signed, but there have been no signs of that happening either yet. To sign Ødegaard in a permanent deal will be tough, but Arsenal will assess the options in that deal.
BOX-TO-BOX MIDFIELDER: Eduardo Camavinga - The French youngster is open to playing in the Premier League next season, and European football would play a part in his decision, but it would not be a necessity. He wants to move to a club where he will get a lot of minutes to keep developing. There is no confirmation that Arsenal have had contact with his representatives, but there is definite interest. Sander Berge and Yves Bissouma seem like the primary targets for Arsenal at the moment.
RIGHTBACK: Achraf Hakimi - Even though the links were strong with Arsenal and Hakimi, it seems like this deal is unlikely to happen as there has been no contact yet, even though his agent likes Arsenal. At the moment, Emerson from Real Betis and Max Aarons seem like the more likely options.
LEFTBACK (backup): Ryan Bertrand - Arsenal were definitely showing interest during the Winter transfer window, and could reignite it this summer. It has become clear that a backup for Tierney is needed after his injury problems, and Bertrand could be an affordable option.
Who should we sign this summer?
